This 11-day adventure takes you across Uganda’s most iconic national parks, combining primate trekking and classic game drives. Tour Plan
Your guide will welcome you at Entebbe International Airport and transfer you for briefing and rest before the adventure begins.

Drive northwards with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and witness the Nile squeezing through the 7-meter gorge at the top of the falls.
Another early start brings the thrill of tracking the legendary “Big Five.” The search leads you through lion territories, where prides lie in wait, and across buffalo herds grazing calmly on the plains. Rhinos and leopards prove more elusive, yet the excitement of spotting them keeps you alert throughout the day. Colorful birdlife fills the skies, adding a soundtrack to the adventure. As evening falls, you gather for stories and reflections on Africa’s wildlife heritage.

A full-day drive through the Albertine Rift Valley with views of tea plantations and crater lakes, arriving near Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of the world.

Head into Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee trekking adventure. Spend time observing them and learning about their social behavior. In the afternoon, enjoy a Bigodi Swamp Walk, rich in birdlife and local cultural encounters.

Travel south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening, take a game drive across the Kasenyi plains, looking out for elephants, Uganda kob, and lions.
Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth’s savannah plains. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles, and large herds of elephants along the shores.

Head to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, the Ishasha sector, where you’ll search for the rare tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees. Continue southwards towards Bwindi.
A highlight of the safari! Trek through the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of endangered mountain gorillas. Spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat.
Take a morning game drive or walking safari in Lake Mburo before driving back to Entebbe for your departure flight.
On your final morning, you take a short game drive or nature walk to savor the last moments of your safari. With the rising sun casting its light over the savannah, you bid farewell to your guide and to East Africa’s extraordinary wilderness. The journey ends, but the memories of chimpanzees, gorillas, and the vast savannah will stay with you forever.
The 11-Day Savannah, Chimpanzee, and Gorilla Safari is the ultimate Ugandan adventure, offering a perfect balance of primate encounters and big game safaris. From rhinos at Ziwa, roaring lions in Queen Elizabeth, and gentle giants in Bwindi, this journey delivers the full spectrum of Uganda’s wildlife treasures.
